Thanks so much for posting this. It's worth the time to watch. I don't agree with everything Kendall says, but I appreciate his thoughtful and measured approach.
I was struck by his comment that "the middle did not hold." I've responded to this at length on my own blog at http://episcopalhospitalchaplain.blogspot.com/2006/08/episcopal-and-anglican-issues.html; but my primary question is, what do we mean when we talk about "the middle?" That affects greatly our sense of whether "the middle" did or did not hold.
